The Czech auto major, Skoda Auto is now finally ready to make its presence in the entry level sedan car market of India with the launch of newly developed C+ segment sedan, Skoda Rapid. As per earlier announcement, the company will be launching the all new Skoda Rapid in Indian the domestic auto market on 16th, November, 2011. The new Skoda Rapid is specially designed and developed for the Indian customers which is being produced at Volkswagen's Chakan plant near Pune, Maharastra on large scale. To make the new Skoda sedan car models popular in the market, the company has already displayed it in NDTV Car and Bike Show on 10th October, 2011.
The company has recently displayed the new launching C+ segment sedan, Skoda Rapid pictures on its official website which attract every eye-ball. It's front look just like premium hatchback Skoda Faiba while rear and interior is fully inspired by Volkswagen Vento. The company will also announce the new Skoda Rapid price for the Indian domestic market which is expected fall in the rang of Rs. 6.80 lakh to Rs. 9.00 lakh. But as per fresh reports the new beast will be available under price bracket of Volkswagen Vento.
The new Skoda Rapid features and specifications expected as standard in every variants which are driver assist, centralized console, audio system, adjustable seats, headrests, arm rests, tilt steering, spacious legroom, ABS, EBD, Airbags, central locking and many more. The Czech auto major will offer both petrol and diesel models in the new beast which used the same 1.6 L powerplant as Volkswagen Vento. There are four variants will be available in each model like Active, Ambition, Elegance and Elegance AT. It is expected one step ahead than Vento because Volkswagen does not offer AT option in diesel model meanwhile, Rapid's both models will have AT option.
