Volkswagen XL1 is new developing revolutionary and world's most fuel efficient sedan car model by the German auto major Volkswagen. The company has displayed this most popular formula at the New Delhi Auto Expo 2012 which will go in production very soon. On this formula the company is developing a Volkswagen XL1 sedan which will also be launched in the Indian auto market. Along with this Volkswagen XL1, the company has also displayed some of new launching Volkswagen car models in India at the 11th Auto Expo likes of new Volkswagen Beetle, New Volkswagen Phaeton, New Volkswagen Touareg etc.
The most fuel efficient electric hybrid car Volkswagen XL1 features a 800cc two-cylinder TDI engine producing 48PS and a lithium-ion electric motor that makes 27PS (20KW) of peak power. It can achieve the speed mark of 0-100kmph in just 11.9 seconds while the top speed of the beast is 160kmph. The indicated Volkswagen XL1 mileage is decent like 111 kmpl while the figure of CO2 emission of the car is 24 g/km.

So far the company has not announced the Volkswagen XL1 price but apparently it will produce only 100 units which will first will soon go sale in Europe, the US and China.
